The agent invented Saltgate Lido - An unheated 1936 lido kept open all year by a trust and four hundred members.
The hero is the pool seen from above: eight lanes on a sand-coloured deck, seven lane ropes drawn float by float with the fast lanes roped in red and yellow, lane numbers stencilled on the deck, a diving board, sun loungers and a lifebuoy. The prices section admits the trust runs a deficit on entry and covers it with membership, and the third price tier is zero, for a hardship pass that is not means-tested and that the person on the desk will not make into a conversation.
Bluebottlecoffee - The palette anchor: soft muted teal against warm beige, with generous spacing. That pairing is exactly a tiled pool against a sun deck, and it is where the tile blue and sand tones came from.
Centrepompidou Fr - A real civic cultural institution. Contributed the quietly authoritative grid and the practice of putting a live practical fact (opening hours, today's status) above the headline rather than in a footer.
Maggieappleton - Returned in the same search. Its calm sage-and-teal register with a friendly display face informed the decision to use a soft grotesque rather than an institutional sans, so the page reads as a community pool and not a council leaflet.

No lido exists in the archive, so the search was run for palette and civic register rather than for a peer. Blue Bottle supplied the teal-and-sand pairing, Pompidou the civic grid, and Maggie Appleton the warmth; the pool diagram and timetable came from the domain.
