Inspo.

About

An archive, in public.

767 real production sites, queryable by your coding agent over MCP. Agents have tools but not taste - and the open web already holds every reference one could need. We just had to assemble, tag, and address it.

Inspo is open source, MIT, owned and operated by Together AI. The hosted instance is free for everyone. No tiers, no paywall.

Why one server

Inspo ships three things at once, addressable from one MCP server:

  1. 01 · Visual range - 2,141 hand-curated captures, each with a desktop and mobile pair. Palettes, type ramps, tech fingerprints extracted. The agent gets real designs to study, not generative slop to remix.
  2. 02 · Canonical code - 68 canonical reference components. Each one demonstrates a named macrostructure or archetype, rendered live at /components.
  3. 03 · Design systems on tap - every captured site has a DESIGN.md extracted from its DOM. Semantic palette roles, type ramp by role, spacing scale, CSS variables, container width.

Other tools ship one of these. Inspo ships all three, queryable from one place - which is what makes the combination useful to an agent that doesn’t read your design system the way a human would.

Self-host & contribute

Every dependency has a free tier - Postgres on Neon, gallery on Vercel, MCP on Cloudflare Workers, capture worker on Fly.io (or any Node host with Chromium). One Together AI key, one Neon URL, one pnpm capture:seed - you have your own instance.

Want to add a site you love? Append it to apps/worker/src/seed-urls.ts and open a PR at github.com/Nutlope/inspo. The bar: does this make the archive better for someone building a website?

Credit

Every screen credits the designer or studio when known and links the source. Want yours taken down? Reach us at /dmca - we’ll honour it.
