The move

The hero's drawing is a 1:200 north elevation in real architectural convention: the existing hall in ink, the proposed timber storey hatched in red, a dashed crane-track relic, scale figures, trees, and dimension lines reading 42.0 by 15.4 metres. The project index below lists the second-prize competition and the chapel whose client withdrew, because a practice that only shows victories is editing, not building.

What Inspo gave it

The captures it studied, and exactly what each one contributed.

  • Atlassian - Returned as an Ecosystem Index exemplar. A platform rather than a practice, so the useful signal was structural: an index page organised by a strict grid with one accent colour, which maps onto the swiss register the brief named.

  • Behance - The other returned exemplar, likewise a platform. Confirmed the crisp white gallery ground and the discipline of letting the work list carry the page; the practice-specific conventions (elevations, competition results, cost per square metre) came from the domain, not the references.

How it was built

The actual MCP calls, in order.

  1. recommend
an architecture practice: swiss grid, austere, restrained, project-index led

Picked Ecosystem Index, which settled the page shape: the index is the portfolio. The returned exemplars were platforms rather than practices - recorded here honestly - so the macrostructure pick was the valuable output and the register came from the brief.

Palette, traced

Every token, and the reference it came from.

  • --white#fbfbfaNear-white ground; swiss austerity starts with refusing a tint.
  • --ink#151514Near-black for type and the elevation drawing's existing structure. The nav and index borders use it at full strength - 1px of ink, not grey.
  • --red#d63a26The single swiss red: the headline full stop, the new timber storey in the elevation, and on-site status in the index. It marks what is new or alive, nothing else.
  • --grey#f1f1eeA half-step grey for the practice band and row hovers.
  • --muted#7c7c76Mid grey for years, locations, dimension strings and the crane-track relic in the drawing.
  • --rule#e3e3deHairlines inside the index; the heavier structural lines are drawn in ink.
