The agent invented Blotter Press - A two-colour risograph studio in Glasgow with a flat price list you can read across.
The overprint is real, not illustrated. Every coloured surface is a flat CSS fill with an SVG feTurbulence grain multiplied over it, the hero headline carries a pink copy of itself printed four pixels off register through mix-blend-mode: multiply, and the ink section has a working mixer: pick any two of the twelve swatches and two grained circles overlap with multiply blending while a small script computes the actual overprint hex, so the page teaches the one thing riso customers never understand (two drums make three colours) by doing it in front of them.
Emigre - The catalogue of solid-colour tiles, each block carrying its own name in its own face, became the ink shelf: twelve flat swatches with grain on top, the product speaking for itself.
Gumroad - Typographic centre with playful objects framing the edges; I kept the type as the anchor and let the overprint shapes and doodle sit in a tilted poster beside it instead of scattering them.
General Condition Design Studio | Branding, Web Design in Europe - Loud single-hue display plus thick-outline doodle creatures; gave the page its nerve, the hand-drawn face on the hero poster, and the hard 2px ink rules that box every section.
Brilliant - Heavy display type with decorative fragments threaded through it; the misregistered pink shadow on the headline is the riso version of that "the graphic lives in the same space as the type" move.
Oliverjeffers - Warm aged paper texture and the raw ink-on-paper feel with no accent colour deployed in the hero; the uncoated paper tone and grain overlay come from this.

Pricing crops from babbel-com, fal-ai, fly-io, headspace-com, kentcdodds-com, lego-com, netlify-com; none were price-list shaped, which pushed me toward the reference JSX instead

Only emigre-com in the archive (thin coverage), but its colour-tile grid was exactly the swatch shelf I needed

Seven canonical JSX shapes; the per-use "line items" and the comparison table (thin rules, no zebra striping, hover lift) shaped the size-by-quantity table

Four different macrostructures, no shared register; confirmed a 5-step type scale is normal for these sites and that radius is either 0 or full pill, nothing in between
--paper#f3eee2Page ground; a warm uncoated Munken-style stock rather than white, so flat inks read as printed not rendered--ink#1f1b1aText, 2px rules, pill fills, the turnaround band; a warm near-black because riso black ink is never truly neutral--blue#0078bfFirst house drum: kickers, price highlights, the "good at" header, the big hero circle; the classic riso blue--pink#ff48b0Second house drum: misregistered headline shadow, rush lane, poster slab, kicker dash; fluorescent pink is the colour people come to riso for--yellow#ffe800Third drum used sparingly: outline-button hover, "bad at" header, timeline dots; keeps the page from being a two-colour cliche without adding a fourth hue--muted#6d645fSecondary copy and mono metadata; a brown-grey so it looks like a 40% tint of the ink, not a screen grey--rule#cfc6b4Hairline table and list rules; a tint of the paper so the 2px ink rules stay the loud ones
