Marlin is a grotesk drawn for interfaces first and posters second. Nine weights on a single axis, real italics at every stop, and a lowercase g that does not collapse at 12 px.

Marlin started as a signage commission for a ferry terminal and kept going. The italics are drawn, not sloped, and the numerals come in four sets because tables and headlines want different things.
