01 Fleet

Three chassis. One navigation stack. One fleet manager.

Every Halden robot runs the same localisation, the same safety controller and the same Yard interface, so mixing tote, pallet and forklift units on one floor is a configuration, not a project.

HX-600Tote and case

Under-tote lifter for goods-to-person picking

Drives under a tote rack or roller cart, lifts 60 mm and carries it to a pick station. Turns in place, fits a 900 mm aisle.

Payload600 kg
Top speed2.0 m/s
Footprint1,120 x 720 mm
Runtime10 h
HX-1400Pallet

Low-lift pallet mover for dock to rack and line-side feed

Picks EUR 1 and 40 x 48 pallets from floor, conveyor or stand. Runs on the same aisles as manual pallet jacks.

Payload1,400 kg
Top speed2.0 m/s
Footprint1,640 x 900 mm
Runtime12 h
HX-2500Forklift

Counterbalance forklift for racking up to three levels

Puts pallets away at 3.6 m and pulls them again, with a mast-mounted scanner covering the raised load. Outdoor-rated to the yard.

02 Specifications

The sheet we hand to your safety officer.

Values below are measured on production units on sealed concrete at 20 °C, laden to rated payload unless stated. Tolerances and test methods are in the full datasheet.

Specification HX-600Tote and case HX-1400Pallet HX-2500Forklift

Braking distance is measured from top laden speed on dry sealed concrete, protective field triggered, to standstill. Repeatability is 3 sigma over 500 dock cycles.

03 Safety

The robot slows before it needs to stop.

Two 270 degree safety scanners cover every side of the chassis. Field sets are switched by speed and load, so the protective field is always longer than the braking distance, with margin.

04 Yard software

Yard runs the floor. Your WMS still runs the warehouse.

Yard is the fleet manager that ships with every robot. It takes transport orders from your WMS, assigns them, routes traffic, schedules charging and reports back. It runs on a single on-site server with a cloud mirror for support.

  • 4.1

    Native integrations

SAP EWM, Manhattan Active, Blue Yonder and Körber connectors maintained by Halden. Anything else over REST or MQTT.

  • 4.2

    VDA 5050 2.1 compliant

Third-party AGVs from other vendors can share the floor under Yard traffic control, or Halden robots can run under yours.

  • 4.3

Traffic management for 400 robots per site

Time-window reservation on a lane graph, with deadlock detection and priority lanes for outbound waves.

  • 4.4

Charging that never blocks a wave

Opportunity charging between orders. Yard keeps every robot above 30% state of charge during the peak plan you give it.

  • 4.5

    Simulation before commissioning

Load your layout and last month's order file. Yard tells you the fleet size and the throughput before a single robot arrives.

05 Deployment

Eight weeks from survey to first shift, on a running warehouse.

No floor modification, no downtime. We map your building while it operates and commission robots one aisle at a time.

Week 0

Site survey

One engineer, one day. Floor flatness, aisle widths, dock geometry, Wi-Fi coverage and the order profile from your WMS.

Output: fleet size and throughput estimate

Weeks 1 to 2

Map and simulate

A single HX-1400 maps the building during a normal shift. Yard simulates the last 30 days of orders on the real map.

Output: signed layout and lane graph

Weeks 3 to 6

Pilot on one flow

Five robots on dock-to-rack only, mixed with your existing traffic. Safety fields are validated on site with your officer present.

Output: acceptance test report

Week 8

Go live and scale

Full fleet arrives pre-configured. Adding a robot later is a serial number in Yard and a 45 minute charge.

Output: production fleet, 24/7 support
