No dynamic pricing. The number you see in October is the number you pay in February. Two guests included; a third guest in the Loft or Ridge House is €60 a night.

The house
Brenna was a hay barn until 2019. When we rebuilt it, we cut the larch from our own stand above the tree line, stacked it for four winters and let it silver where it faces the weather. Inside it stays honey coloured, and it smells faintly of resin when the stove is lit.
There is no lobby, no bar and no spa menu. There is a stube with a long table, a sauna that opens onto the snow, and eleven rooms that were designed from the bed outward.
A day here
The wood oven has been going since six. Breakfast is on the long table until eleven.
Six minutes on foot to the cable car. Skins and boards live in the drying room by the door.
Barley soup and a slice of speck in the stube for anyone who comes down for it.
The sauna opens onto the terrace. The snow bath is exactly as cold as it sounds.
Four courses from the valley, one sitting, wine from Terlano and the Adige.
The ridge lights go off. On clear nights we lend blankets for the terrace.
Getting here
The road to Valtura is cleared every morning and closed to cars above the village in winter. Leave yours in our covered garage at the valley station and we bring you up in the house car.
Questions
Two nights in every season except the festive weeks, when it is five. We are happy to hold a single night if one appears between two bookings; write to us.
Yes. Breakfast, the afternoon bread and soup, the sauna and the shuttle to the cable car are in the room rate. Dinner is €78 per person for four courses and is booked by noon the same day.
Children of any age are welcome; a cot is free and a third bed in the Loft or Ridge House is €60 a night. Dogs stay in the Ridge House only, at €25 a night, and are welcome in the stube but not in the sauna.
Free until 21 days before arrival. Inside 21 days we charge the first night; inside 7 days, half the stay. If the road is closed by snow on your arrival day, we refund everything.
Nine covered spaces at the valley station, €12 a night, and a heated drying room at the front door with a boot warmer for every room.
